It's All in The Hips

The other day after wokring on my forms I deccided to go to the driving range here in town and practice on my golfing swing. I worked on my wedges, long irons, and mt poisitiong with my driver. I also took some slow motion videos of my swing to see what is going good, and what happens when I have a bad swing. I never felt it, but when I watched the videos my hips are doing a very small rotion to begin my golf swing, than my shoulders follow my hips. I never felt that movement until I saw it happeing from a video. Fast forward to today and I had a golf event in the morning and it allowed me to really feel my hips and shoulders working together in my swing, I was hitting the ball straight consistantly which is a change. I am going to give massive credit to Kung Fu, we have been taught in class to use our hips to generate power in most of our techniques. After golfing for a few years its definitly rolled over into my golf game for the better.
